Lisbon Art Stay Aparthotel

We had a wonderful stay. The room was small and I wish that there was a bit more space to put things out. I expect a small room in Europe, but there was not even a large windowsill where we could lay things out. Everything was clean and in good condition, we appreciated the small kitchenette. It was interesting that there was a window between the bedroom and the shower, there was a blind, which we made good use of! They offered water and treats in the lobby, and there is an excellent walking tour on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. We did not go to the restaurant however, I did look at the breakfast buffet and it looked good and like there were a lot of options, including vegan. We did go to the rooftop bar one night, I’m not sure exactly why it has so much hype. It was perfectly pleasant and the cocktail was good. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The decoration was fun and kitschy. Excellent location close to restaurants, shops, and monuments.

It certainly is a unique hotel. But just because it is art doesn't mean it is good art. Way too many large and disconcerting mirrors throughout the building and each room making it more circus environment than a place that is comfortable. Furniture too is more for looks than comfort, style over function. The rooftop bar was very expensive and we were ready to leave before finishing our first drink. Limited drink menu and though it said food, only nuts were available. Staff has been friendly and helpful. Location is in the heart of food and activities, which means the heart of tourism and loads of people. Can be very exciting but crowded. Noise stays outside so rooms are quiet.
